This package includes 2 x 50W high-efficiency, waterproof monocrystalline solar panels, each with a 5m cable and MC4 connectors. The 100W system is perfect for permanent outdoor use, providing free electricity for charging 12V batteries to power various applications such as a camper van, motorhome, boat, shed, farm, as well as remote applications like telecommunications or monitoring equipment. It can also supply direct power for applications not sensitive to changes in input voltage / current (e.g. electric motors or pumps).

Each panel is fitted with 5m of special solar cable that can function at high roof temperatures with minimum power losses. A pair of male / female MC4 connectors are crimped on the end of the cable for easy connection to other solar panels, extension leads, or your existing system. (The MC4 connectors can also be cut off when wiring to the screw terminals of a solar charge controller).

The durable, high-efficiency monocrystalline solar cells and the tough, sealed, aluminum frame will provide consistent, free power for years. The waterproof design ensures that the panels can be used in all weather conditions. These panels feature innovative 5 busbar solar cells, which are able to extract more power from the same surface area, resulting in a smaller overall solar panel, ideal for applications where space is limited. These solar cells are also the best choice for applications in warmer climates, as they operate well even in high ambient temperatures.

If you plan to use these solar panels for charging a 12V battery or battery bank, please note that these panels require a solar charge controller / regulator to charge a 12V battery. We recommend purchasing our 10A Photonic Universe solar charge controller for these solar panels. If you plan to add more solar panels in the future, you will require a more powerful controller; in this case, we recommend our 20A solar charge controller instead. This product is covered by a 1-year workmanship warranty provided by Photonic Universe. We will repair or replace defective items at our discretion. In addition, solar cells are guaranteed to produce at least 90% of nominal power in 10 years after purchase and at least 80% of nominal power in 25 years after purchase. Installation:
These 2 x 50W solar panels can be wired in parallel ("+" to "+", "-" to "-") to charge a 12V battery or battery bank, or in series ("+" of one panel to "-" of the other panel, and the other "+" and "-" to the solar controller) to charge a 24V battery or battery bank. These solar panels are not supplied with an installation manual as they need to be connected to further devices such as a solar charge controller or inverter, which are supplied with a manual.
