200W (100W+100W) solar panels with 2 x 5m cable

This package includes two 100W high-efficiency, waterproof monocrystalline solar panels, each equipped with 5m cables and MC4 connectors. The 200W system is suitable for providing free electricity for charging 12V batteries in applications such as campervans, motorhomes, boats, sheds, farms, and remote setups like telecommunications or monitoring equipment. It can also power applications such as electric motors or pumps.

Each panel comes with 5m of special solar cable designed to work at high roof temperatures and has minimal power losses. The panels have male/female MC4 connectors crimped on the end of the cable for easy connection to other solar panels or extension leads. The long-lasting, high-efficiency monocrystalline solar cells and tough aluminum frame ensure consistent, free power for many years, while the waterproof design allows for use in all weather conditions.

The panels feature innovative 5-busbar solar cells which are more efficient than the 2, 3, or 4-busbar solar cells used in most other solar panels. They can extract more power from the same surface area, resulting in smaller overall panels, which are ideal for applications where space is limited. These solar cells are also suitable for warmer climates and operate well in high ambient temperatures.

If you plan to use these solar panels to charge a 12V battery, you will need a solar charge controller/regulator. We recommend purchasing our 20A solar charge controller for these panels. This product is covered by a 1 year workmanship warranty provided by Photonic Universe. In addition, the solar cells are guaranteed to produce at least 90% of nominal power in 10 years after purchase and at least 80% of nominal power in 25 years after purchase.

Installation:

These 2 x 100W solar panels can be wired in parallel ("+" to "+", "-" to "-") to charge a 12V battery or battery bank, or in series ("+" of one panel to "-" of the other panel, and the other "+" and "-" to the solar controller) to charge a 24V battery or battery bank. These panels do not come with an installation manual as they need to be connected to further devices such as a solar charge controller or inverter, which are supplied with a manual.
