80W (40W+40W) solar panels with 2 x 5m cable

This package includes two 40W high-efficiency, waterproof monocrystalline solar panels, each with a 5m cable and MC4 connectors. This 80W system is perfect for permanent outdoor use, providing free electricity to charge 12V batteries for various applications such as in a camper van, motorhome, boat, shed, farm, as well as remote applications like telecommunications or monitoring equipment. It can also be used to directly power applications not sensitive to changes in input voltage/current (e.g. electric motors or pumps). Each panel is equipped with 5m of special solar cable with minimal power losses at high roof temperatures. Additionally, a pair of male/female MC4 connectors are crimped on the end of the cable for easy connection to other solar panels, extension leads, or to your existing system. The long-lasting, high-efficiency monocrystalline solar cells and the tough, sealed, aluminum frame will provide years of consistent, free power. The waterproof design ensures that the panels can be used in all weather conditions. These panels also feature innovative 5 busbar solar cells, which are more efficient than 2, 3, or 4 busbar solar cells used in most other solar panels, allowing them to extract more power from the same surface area.

This 40W solar panel is great for limited space and warmer climates. If you're charging a 12V battery, you'll need a solar charge controller. We recommend our 10A Photonic Universe solar charge controller for these solar panels. If you plan to add more panels in the future, you'll need a more powerful controller, such as our 20A Photonic Universe solar charge controller. The product comes with a 1-year workmanship warranty provided by Photonic Universe, and the solar cells are guaranteed to produce at least 90% of nominal power in 10 years and at least 80% in 25 years.
