This 80W solar panel is designed for permanent outdoor use to charge 12V batteries and power various applications such as motorhomes, caravans, campers, boats, solar lighting systems, off-grid, and back up solar power systems. It can also provide direct power supply for applications not sensitive to changes in input voltage/current (e.g. electric motors or pumps) and for various grid-tie applications.

The panel is reinforced with anodized aluminum and strong ETFE coating, making it robust and durable. The ETFE coating has a longer service life compared to standard semi-flexible solar panels and is resistant to cracking, delamination, and corrosion. The panel's lightly textured coating creates an anti-reflective surface, allowing it to absorb more light and increase efficiency.

The panel features high-quality 5-busbar solar cells, which are more efficient and able to extract more power from the same surface area compared to other solar panels. It is also semi-flexible, making it ideal for slightly curved surfaces and applications where space is limited.

Other features include high resistance to saltwater environments, a sealed waterproof design, and lightweight construction. The panel comes with 2 x 0.9m of cable with waterproof MC4 connectors for easy connectivity. It requires a solar charge controller/regulator to charge a 12V battery and does not include a user manual.

The panel is covered by a 1-year workmanship warranty and a guarantee that the solar cells will produce at least 90% of nominal power in 10 years and 80% in 25 years. Installation guidelines and technical support are available.
