MPPT Technology: This solar charge controller utilizes advanced Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology to optimize the power output of solar panels by tracking the maximum power voltage point. This feature ensures maximum efficiency of the solar system and outperforms standard PWM solar controllers. The controller is also compatible with a wide range of solar panel voltages, from standard off-grid 12/24V panels to high voltage or multiple panels with voltage up to 150V. The maximum combined input solar power allowed for this controller is 520W for a 12V battery system or 1040W for a 24V system. It significantly improves the efficiency of a solar system when the solar panel voltage is much higher than the battery voltage (e.g. charging a 12V battery with a 36V solar panel).

Full System Protection: This charge controller includes various electronic protection functions such as reverse current prevention, over-charging and deep discharge protection, solar panel over voltage protection, over load protection, short circuit protection, and reverse polarity protection. The controller also features self-diagnostic capability to identify and highlight any system errors using advanced fault-targeting technology. An optional audible alarm is available to alert the user of system failures.

Additional Features: The controller automatically recognizes 12/24V battery systems and features LED lights to indicate the charging status and battery condition. A current limiting function (40A) allows for the addition of more solar panels to the solar system in the future. Its die-cast aluminum design ensures excellent heat dissipation.

Multiple Connectivity Options: This model offers advanced communication technology, enabling users to monitor and program parameters for the solar charge controller through various methods:

    1. Connect the controller to a remote meter MT50 with an LCD screen to display system performance information and manually adjust parameters and load settings.

    2. Connect the controller to a Wi-Fi module to create a Wi-Fi network, allowing monitoring and adjustment of charging parameters and controller settings through a free mobile app (available for Android and iOS users).

    3. Use an RJ45 to USB cable to connect the controller directly to a PC/laptop, where parameters and settings can be monitored and adjusted via a free computer program - Solar Station Monitor (only compatible with Windows-based PCs and laptops).

By using one of these communication methods, users can access various charging parameters and adjust settings to match their specific needs. Additionally, the controller has a built-in temperature sensor and intelligent heat-dissipating design. A socket for connecting a remote temperature sensor is also available to measure battery temperature accurately and optimize the charging process.
