Typically, when used with an energy meter, the Modbus card is inserted into the built-in intelligent slot of the ?ÿ grid-tie Iconica inverter ?ÿ which then enables communication with the ?ÿ energy meter , via the RS-485 connection, to efficiently set up the self-consumption function to control power generation and battery charging of the inverter.
