How do I know if it is compatible?

If you are replacing a 50W rigid panel with similar dimensions (approx. 580x510mm), this is a direct replacement. It is compatible with all 12V lead-acid, AGM, and Gel battery systems via a charge controller.

Can this panel be used to charge 24V batteries?

As a single 12V nominal panel, it is designed for 12V systems. However, two of these SWG-50M panels can be wired in series to charge a 24V battery bank using a standard charge controller.
