The SMA Sunny Boy Storage 3.6-6.0 offers similar functionality to the 2.5 but is also the first battery inverter with a multistring battery connection. Up to three different high-voltage batteries can be connected to a single inverter, for larger batteries three DC inputs can be connected in parallel.
This Sunny Boy Storage offers integrated emergency power, which can be switched manually. Back-up for a household supply can be provided using an optional additional automatic transfer switch.
Featuring an integrated webserver commissioning via smartphone or laptop is possible and household energy flows are easily visualised thanks to the direct connection to Sunny Portal and Sunny Places.
