This Bluetooth module plugs into your device to allow it to communicate wirelessly with your mobile phone or tablet. Using the free pairing app, you can connect wirelessly to monitor parameters of compatible mains chargers, DC to DC chargers and MPPT solar charge controllers. The pairing app can also be used to change charging settings of your battery system.
The device can be used with the following chargers and controllers:
- Mains battery chargers: BCxxxxPRO
- DC-to-DC battery chargers: DCxxxx-xx, DCxxxx-xxS and DCxxxx-xxxx
- Dual battery MPPT solar charge controllers: PMPPT series
The 'Charger connect' app is available to download for iOS devices here, and for Android devices here.
The mobile app allows you to have full control over the charging process, and can display various charging parameters such as voltage, current, battery state of charge, etc. It can also store accumulated charge and discharge energy, as well as min / max voltage readings.
By adding this Bluetooth adapter to your device, you will unlock a range of exclusive settings on the pairing app which give you far greater control over your battery system. With access to this vast range of charging parameters, you will be able to:
- Amend the battery type and capacity
- Select charging voltages for different battery systems
- Create a user-defined battery type with charging parameters specific to your battery (if the pre-existing options are unsuitable)
