80W 12V solar charging kit with 10A controller and 5m cable

This is an 80W solar panel with high efficiency and waterproof design. It is suitable for outdoor use for charging 12V batteries in applications such as camper vans, motorhomes, boats, sheds, farms, and remote installations like telecommunications or monitoring equipment. It can also provide direct power to applications that are not sensitive to changes in input voltage or current, such as electric motors or pumps. The panel comes with 5m of special solar cable that can work at high roof temperatures with minimal power losses. It features male/female MC4 connectors crimped on the end of the cable for easy connection to other solar panels, extension leads, or existing systems.

The kit also includes a 10A 12V/24V solar charge controller designed to protect batteries while charging. It uses PWM technology to increase charge acceptance, prolong battery life, and recover some lost battery capacity. The controller stops reverse current at night, preventing the battery from losing charge, and has various protection functions such as overcharge/discharge, overload, short circuit, and overheating. It can work with sealed, gel, and flooded batteries, with the option to change the battery type using communication methods. The controller can accept up to 160W (12V battery) / 320W (24V battery) of solar power input.

The solar charge controller features advanced communication technology, offering the user the opportunity to monitor and program parameters through various methods. These methods include connecting the controller to a remote meter with an LCD screen, a Wi-Fi module to create a Wi-Fi network for monitoring or adjusting charging parameters, or an RJ45 to USB cable to connect the controller directly to a PC or laptop. Using one of these communication methods, the user can access various charging parameters and make adjustments as needed, such as voltage, current, battery state of charge, accumulated charge and discharge energy, and more.

Warranty Information:

This product is covered by a 1-year warranty provided by Photonic Universe, including a 1-year warranty for the solar charge controller and a 1-year workmanship warranty for the solar panel. Defective items will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Additionally, solar cells are guaranteed to produce at least 90% of nominal power 10 years after purchase and at least 80% of nominal power 25 years after purchase. This warranty is provided by the manufacturer of the solar cells.

Electrical Connection: The solar charge controller included in this kit comes with a detailed user manual containing a wiring diagram and installation/operation instructions. Please ensure that you read the full user manual before starting the installation.
