Two 20W Solar Panels:

The kit includes two waterproof, high-efficiency 20W solar panels that are ideal for permanent outdoor use to provide free power for charging a 12V battery. This power can then be used to operate various devices for many applications, such as 12V lights, fans, water pumps, electric fences, etc. The kit can also be used to charge a leisure battery in a camper, caravan, or boat. The durable, high-efficiency, polycrystalline cells and tough, sealed aluminum frame on each panel ensure years of consistent free power. The waterproof design allows the panels to be used in all weather conditions. Each panel comes with a 2m cable attached to the waterproof junction box on the back. Please note that the junction box protrudes approximately 0.5cm beyond the frame, so there must be some space left between the frame and the flat surface when mounting each panel (typically 1.0 - 1.5cm space is recommended for cooling).

10A Solar Charge Controller:

The kit includes a 10A 12V/24V Photonic Universe solar charge controller designed to protect batteries while charging them. It features automatic cut-off to prevent overcharging and deep discharge. The controller uses PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology, which increases charge acceptance and prolongs the life of your battery. It can recover some lost battery capacity and stops reverse current at night from the battery back to the solar panel. In addition, it offers protection functions such as over-charge/discharge, over-load, short circuit, and overheating. Other features include LED indicators, a temperature sensor, and a load "on/off" button. The small size of the controller (14x7cm) is one of its greatest benefits. It can work with sealed, gel, and flooded batteries, and a user-defined battery type. The controller can handle up to 160W (12V battery) / 320W (24V battery) of solar power input, making it suitable for small or medium solar PV systems with a battery and load, such as in a campervan or boat. The controller also features advanced communication technology, offering the user the opportunity to monitor and program parameters through various methods.

Additional Items:

This kit also includes 5m of dual-core battery cable (2.5mm cross-section) for connecting the solar charge controller to the battery.

Warranty:

The products are covered by a 1-year warranty provided by Photonic Universe. This includes a 1-year warranty for the solar charge controller and a 1-year workmanship warranty for the solar panel. Defective items will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Additionally, the solar cells are guaranteed to produce at least 90% of nominal power in 10 years after purchase and at least 80% of nominal power in 25 years after purchase.

Installation:

Installation is simple:

1) Connect the 12V or 24V battery to the battery terminals of the solar charge controller.

2) Connect the solar panels to the solar terminals of the solar charge controller.

The kit will start charging your battery as soon as the solar panels are exposed to some light.
