20A solar charge controller/regulator with LCD display for 12V/24V/36V/48V battery

This solar charge controller comes in 12V/24V/36V/48V models and features an LCD display with advanced monitoring and programming capabilities. It allows for full control over the charging process and the option to adjust various charging parameters and load work modes. Users can program their own system settings instead of being limited to factory-defined parameters. The controller uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology to enhance battery charge acceptance and extend its life. It can also recover lost battery capacity.

The controller includes electronic protection functions such as preventing reverse current at night, automatic cutoff to prevent over-charging and deep discharge, and protection against over heating, over load, short circuit, and reverse polarity. It is compatible with solar panels with a combined power of up to 320W (12V), 640W (24V), 960W (36V), or 1.2kW (48V), making it suitable for large off-grid solar systems. The wide solar input voltage range of up to 96V allows for the use of on-grid solar modules with voltages higher than 12V/24V.

This solar charge controller is designed for use with a single battery or battery bank (gel, sealed, or flooded) with a voltage of 12V, 24V, 36V, or 48V; the controller will determine the working mode automatically. It is recommended to use a 48V battery bank for a solar charging system with a battery bank/inverter, as it makes the system safer and more stable due to the lower current rating.

Other features of the controller include an LCD display with a user-friendly interface, LED indicators, built-in temperature sensor, real-time solar panel and battery performance monitoring, energy statistics counter, programmable load work mode with timer, and the option to create a personalized, "user-defined" battery type with specific parameters.

The advanced communication technology of the controller allows users to monitor and program parameters through various methods: connection to a remote meter MT50 with an LCD screen, connection to a Wi-Fi module for monitoring and adjustment through a mobile app, and connection to a PC/laptop via an RJ45 to USB cable to monitor and adjust settings through a computer program.

By using any of these communication methods, the user can access various charging parameters, such as voltage, current, battery state of charge, accumulated charge and discharge energy, min/max voltage, and other relevant information. They also have the ability to modify the battery type and capacity, set charging volts for different stages, specify the duration of each stage, adjust load settings, and more. Additionally, the controller is equipped with a pair of terminals for connecting a remote temperature sensor, allowing for more precise measurement of battery temperature and optimization of the charging process.
