    Introducing the 10A Dual Battery Solar Charge Controller/Regulator for 12V/24V Batteries. This high-quality controller is designed to charge and protect two batteries simultaneously, with automatic cutoff to prevent overcharging. The controller utilizes PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology, which increases charge acceptance and extends the life of the batteries. PWM technology can also recover some lost battery capacity. This is an ideal solar controller for a caravan, camper van, boat, or any system with two batteries (e.g., engine and leisure battery) or two battery banks.

     You can prioritize the initial charging between two batteries, such as 80% for the engine battery and 20% for the leisure battery. Once one battery is fully charged, the controller will automatically switch all current to the other battery. This controller is compatible with solar panels up to 160W for 12V battery systems or up to 320W for 24V battery systems.

    Yes, the unit can work with only one battery. The controller will detect if there is only one battery connected and will direct 100% of the charging current to that battery. You can always add a second battery later. The unit includes multiple protection functions, including preventing reverse current at night, overcharging, short circuit protection, and reverse polarity, among others.

    Additional features include various LED indicators, battery type selection (sealed, gel, flooded), and an RJ-45 socket for an optional remote LCD meter with a 10m cable. The built-in temperature sensor allows the controller to optimize the charging process based on the ambient temperature.

    If you plan to position the controller far from the battery or if the battery and the controller are exposed to different temperatures, it is recommended to use an external remote temperature sensor with a 3m cable for this dual battery solar charge controller. To connect the remote temperature sensor to the screw terminals of the controller, unscrew the green connector block at the end of the sensor cable.
