100W 12V solar charging kit includes a 10A controller and 5m cable. The kit features a high efficiency, waterproof 100W 12V monocrystalline solar panel. It's designed for permanent outdoor use and provides free electricity for charging 12V batteries. This can power various applications such as camper vans, motorhomes, boats, sheds, farms, and remote applications like telecommunications or monitoring equipment.

The panel can also provide direct power for applications not sensitive to changes in input voltage or current, such as electric motors or pumps. The panel comes with 5m of special solar cable, capable of working at high roof temperatures with minimum power losses. It's equipped with a pair of male/female MC4 connectors for easy connection to other solar panels, extension leads, or existing systems. The long-lasting, high-efficiency monocrystalline solar cells and tough sealed aluminum frame provide consistent, free power for many years. The waterproof design allows for use in all weather conditions. Additionally, the panel features innovative 5 busbar solar cells, which are more efficient than the 2, 3, or 4 busbar solar cells used in most other solar panels. They can extract more power from the same surface area, resulting in a smaller overall solar panel, making it ideal for limited space applications and warmer climates.
The kit also includes a 10A 12V/24V Photonic Universe solar charge controller designed to protect batteries during charging, with automatic cutoff to prevent overcharging and deep discharge. The controller uses PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology, which increases charge acceptance and prolongs the life of the battery. Often, PWM technology can recover some lost battery capacity.

This charge controller prevents reverse current at night, protecting the battery from losing charge. It also offers various protection functions such as overcharge/discharge, overload, short circuit, and overheating. Other features include LED indicators, a temperature sensor, and a load "on/off" button. The compact size of 14x7cm makes it easy to install. This controller is compatible with sealed, gel, and flooded batteries, and can handle up to 160W (12V battery) / 320W (24V battery) of solar power input, making it suitable for small or medium solar PV systems with a battery and load, such as those in campervans or boats. 

Advanced communication technology allows users to monitor and program parameters through different methods:
1) Connect a remote meter MT50 with an LCD screen to manually adjust parameters and load settings.
2) Connect to a Wi-Fi module to create a Wi-Fi network for monitoring or adjusting charging parameters and controller settings using a mobile app - Solar Station Monitor (available for Android and iOS users).
3) Use an RJ45 to USB cable to connect the controller directly to your PC/laptop to monitor and adjust parameters using a computer program - Solar Station Monitor (Windows-based PCs and laptops only).

Through these communication methods, users can access various charging parameters, including voltage, current, battery state of charge, accumulated charge and discharge energy, min/max voltage, and more. Users can also amend the battery type and capacity, set charging volts for different charging stages, create a user-defined battery type, personalize the 'load' settings, and more. 

Please note that this kit includes the solar charge controller, but does not come with mounting accessories or a battery cable. Additionally, the solar charge controller may be shipped separately from the solar panel. The product is covered by a 1-year warranty provided by Photonic Universe, and defective items will be repaired or replaced at their discretion.

The solar cells are guaranteed to produce at least 90% of nominal power 10 years after purchase, and at least 80% of nominal power 25 years after purchase, as per the manufacturer's warranty.

For installation advice, please refer to the user manual provided with the solar charge controller. The solar panel can be fitted to a flat roof using metal brackets, plastic brackets, or other suitable methods.
