100W 12V solar charging kit with 10A controller and 5m cable

A 100W 12V solar charging kit with a 10A controller and 5m cable is included in this kit. It contains a waterproof, high-efficiency 100W monocrystalline solar panel with 5m of solar cable and MC4 connectors. The panel is perfect for permanent outdoor use and can provide free electricity to charge a 12V battery to power various devices and appliances. It features long-lasting monocrystalline solar cells and a tough, sealed aluminum frame for consistent, free power. The waterproof design allows for use in all weather conditions. Additionally, the panel comes with 5m of special solar cable capable of operating at high roof temperatures with minimal power losses. The cable is equipped with a pair of male/female MC4 connectors for easy connection to other solar panels or a 4mm extension cable. The MC4 connectors can also be cut off when wiring to the screw terminals of the 10A solar charge controller. Each individual solar panel undergoes thorough testing to ensure the highest quality and is labeled with a unique serial number for increased warranty protection.

The kit also includes a 10A Photonic Universe solar charge controller designed to protect batteries while charging them. It features automatic cutoff to prevent overcharging and deep discharge.
The controller uses PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology which increases charge acceptance and prolongs the life of your battery. Often PWM technology can recover some lost battery capacity. This solar controller stops reverse current at night (from the battery back to the solar panel) so your battery won't lose any charge. It has many other protection functions such as over charge / discharge, over load, short circuit, overheating etc. 
Please take note of the following details:

This controller comes with various features, including LED indicators, a temperature sensor, and a load "on/off" button. Despite its powerful 10A capacity, one of the key advantages of this controller is its compact size, measuring only 14x7cm. It is compatible with sealed, gel, and flooded batteries. The default setting is sealed, but users can define their own battery type. However, it is important to note that the battery type can only be changed from the default using one of the communication methods listed below.

The solar charge controller also boasts advanced communication technology, allowing users to monitor and program parameters for the controller via various methods:

1) Connection to a remote meter MT50 with an LCD screen to display system performance information and manually adjust parameters and load settings.
2) Connecting to a Wi-Fi module to create a Wi-Fi network, enabling monitoring and adjustment of charging parameters and controller settings through a free mobile app - Solar Station Monitor (available for Android and iOS users).
3) Using an RJ45 to USB cable to connect the controller directly to a PC or laptop, allowing for monitoring and adjustment of parameters and settings via a free computer program - Solar Station Monitor (compatible with Windows-based PCs and laptops only).

By using one of these communication methods, users can access various charging parameters, such as voltage, current (separately for solar panel/load), battery state of charge, accumulated charge and discharge energy, min/max voltage, and other information. Users can also amend the battery type and capacity, set charging volts for different charging stages, specify the duration of each charging stage, create a user-defined battery type with specific charging parameters, customize 'load' settings (e.g. set timers for lighting, fans, pumps), and more.

In addition to the built-in temperature sensor, the controller has terminals for connecting a remote temperature sensor, which can be attached directly to the battery to measure the battery temperature more accurately and optimize the charging process.

Please note that the controller is not waterproof and should be used indoors. This is an essentials kit and does not include mounting accessories or battery cable. Please be aware that due to our warehouse arrangements, the solar charge controller may be shipped from a different warehouse than the solar panel and delivered in a separate package.

This product is covered by a 1-year warranty provided by Photonic Universe, including a 1-year warranty for the solar charge controller and a 1-year workmanship warranty for the solar panel. Defective items will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. In addition, solar cells are guaranteed to produce at least 90% of nominal power 10 years after purchase and at least 80% of nominal power 25 years after purchase. This warranty is provided by the manufacturer of the solar cells.
