250W 12V dual battery solar kit for camper / boat with controller and cable

This high-efficiency, waterproof 250W 12V monocrystalline solar panel is designed for permanent outdoor use to provide free electricity for charging 12V batteries. It can power various applications such as camper vans, motorhomes, boats, sheds, farms, remote telecommunications or monitoring equipment. It can also provide a direct power supply for applications not sensitive to changes in input voltage or current, such as electric motors or pumps.

The panel comes with 5m of special solar cable, allowing it to work at high roof temperatures with minimal power losses. It is fitted with a pair of male/female MC4 connectors for easy connection to other solar panels, existing systems, or 6mm extension cables.

Featuring long-lasting, high-efficiency monocrystalline solar cells and a tough, sealed aluminum frame, this panel ensures consistent, free power for many years, regardless of weather conditions. The panel also includes innovative 5-busbar solar cells, which are more efficient than traditional 2, 3, or 4-busbar solar cells, allowing them to extract more power from the same surface area. This results in a smaller overall solar panel, making it ideal for limited-space applications. Additionally, these solar cells operate well even in high ambient temperatures, making them suitable for warmer climates.

The kit comes with a 20A 12V/24V dual battery solar charge controller designed to charge and protect two batteries independently, with automatic cut-off to prevent overcharging. The controller uses PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology, increasing charge acceptance and prolonging battery life. It's ideal for caravans, camper vans, boats, or systems with two batteries or battery banks. The controller allows you to set the initial charging priority, automatically diverting power to the other battery once one is fully charged. The unit also has various protection functions, LED indicators, battery type selection, and a built-in temperature sensor for optimizing the charging process based on ambient temperature. An external remote temperature sensor with a 3m cable is recommended if the controller is placed far from the battery or if they are exposed to different temperatures. Please be aware that due to our warehouse arrangements, the solar charge controller may be shipped from a different warehouse to the solar panel and therefore delivered in a separate package.

This product is covered by a 1-year warranty provided by Photonic Universe, including a 1-year warranty for the solar charge controller and a 1-year workmanship warranty for the solar panel. Defective items will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. In addition, solar cells are guaranteed to produce at least 90% of nominal power in 10 years after purchase and at least 80% of nominal power in 25 years after purchase. This warranty is provided by the manufacturer of solar cells.

The solar panel in this kit can be fitted to a flat roof using metal brackets, plastic brackets, or a variety of other methods.
