    This complete off-grid dual battery van conversion kit has been expertly designed to maximise efficiency and output to charge 2 battery banks. This system comes equipped with some of our most premium quality products; including 2 x 160W black fibreglass reinforced solar panels and a 25A dual battery solar charge controller with an innovative design from years of dedicated research, as well as a superior build quality that enables this top-of-the-range solar charge controllers to extend battery capacity and life, maximise energy production, and consistently achieve high performance standards.

    In addition to the strong solar panel input of 320W, this kit is supplied with a 200Ah 12V battery, a 3000W 230V pure sine wave inverter and connection cables. This dual battery van kit is an easily installed system for personal or commercial use to charge both a leisure and a starter battery. It can provide power to appliances such as a TV, radio, lights, computer, laptop, printer, fridge, microwave, or washing machine. This may vary significantly according to location and season.

    2 x 160W black semi-flexible fibreglass solar panel with durable ETFE coating:

    The two high efficiency, waterproof 160W black fibreglass reinforced solar panels included in the kit features innovative 5-busbar solar cells to maximise efficiency and output. The panel is fitted with 2 x 1m of 4mm² cable with T4 connectors on the end. These can be used for easy connection to the 5m solar extension cable included with the kit.

    This panel boasts a robust construction using plastic reinforced with glass fibre which creates a sturdy and durable solar panel, as well as a special textured surface that significantly reduces light reflection and improves performance in low light and cloudy conditions. The panel is easily installed with no drilling required and the highly flexible design makes this panel ideal for curved roofs, pop tops, and other surfaces where bonding is preferable for a sleek and modern finish (though it can also be fixed by bolts or screws).

    25A 12V dual battery solar charge controller:

    This high quality SunSaver Duo 25A 12V dual battery solar charge controller with LCD remote meter is well-recognised as the most powerful dual battery controller on the market and is suitable for various applications. It has extremely high reliability, with a long 5 year warranty and estimated 15 year service life.

    The controller is perfect for vans, caravans, motorhomes, boats or other systems with 2 batteries (e.g. engine and leisure battery). You can set initial charging priority e.g. 90% leisure battery and 10% engine battery. When one of the batteries is fully charged the controller will automatically divert all power to the other battery.

    This controller has many protection functions, such as stopping reverse current at night (from the battery to the solar panel), over charge, short circuit, reverse polarity etc. Other features include an LED status indicator, battery type selection (sealed, or flooded - two batteries can have different types) and a built-in temperature sensor that allows charging adjustment depending on the ambient temperature. The controller comes with a remote LCD display / meter which is connected via 10m cable (included). The remote meter can display various charging parameters such as solar panel current, battery voltages, amp-hours, temperature etc. The large numerical display and buttons allow easy navigation through the meter menu and a quick point of reference for your solar power system.

    3000W 230V pure sine wave inverter:

    This 3000W 230V pure sine wave inverter converts battery output (DC, or direct current) into 230V AC mains electricity (alternating current). 230V AC is the type of electricity supplied by utility companies to run standard domestic appliances such as a TV, fridge, radio, lights etc.

    This is a pure sine wave type of inverter, which means that the 230V AC output harmonically follows a smooth sine wave and is almost identical to normal mains electricity. Pure sine wave output is far superior than square sine wave or modified sine wave output for running appliances.

    In addition, the inverter has a USB port for powering USB-compatible devices (e.g. mobile phones, tablets, laptops, MP3 players etc.) and is also supplied with a wireless On/Off remote control (max. 50m radius).

    200Ah Gel deep cycle leisure battery:

    The Gel deep-cycle battery is non-spillable, completely sealed, and maintenance free - amongst the very safest batteries you can find. It has a much longer service life compared to standard wet-cell batteries due to less degradation and corrosion inside the battery. This Gel battery can hold charge very well and has a much lower self-discharge rate.

    This kit also includes 5m 6mm² dual core battery extension cable with a 20A fuse and loose ring terminals for connecting the charge controller to the battery, an automatic circuit breaker for use between the inverter and the batteries, and 5m 6mm² solar extension cable with T4 T-branch connectors and double cable entry gland to connect to the existing 1m of solar cable fitted to the solar panel to the charge controller through the roof of the van.

    Please note: due to our warehouse arrangements, the kit accessories may be shipped from a different warehouse to the solar panel, charge controller, inverter, and batteries, and therefore delivered in a separate package.

    The battery is covered by a 1 year repair or replacement warranty provided by Photonic Universe. In the unlikely event that a defect is found and confirmed during this period, we guarantee that we will repair or replace defective items (at our discretion). The inverter is covered by a 1 year manufacturer warranty. For more information please refer to our Terms and Conditions. The solar charge controller is covered by a 5 year manufacturer warranty.

    In addition, the solar panel comes with a 3 year workmanship warranty which covers material and production defects. The solar cells are guaranteed to produce at least 90% of nominal power in 10 years after purchase and at least 80% of nominal power in 25 years after purchase. This warranty is provided by the manufacturer of solar cells.
