270W SEMI-FLEXIBLE SOLAR PANEL WITH REAR JUNCTION BOX (MADE IN AUSTRIA)

This 270W monocrystalline solar panel is semi-flexible, high-efficiency, and waterproof. It is designed for permanent outdoor use and can provide free electricity for charging 12V or 24V battery / battery bank to power various applications. The panel is suitable for flat or curved roofs, such as on boats, caravans, motorhomes, and RVs, as it can easily fit the shape of the roof when mounted. It is typically installed on a roof using an adhesive (not included), but it can also be secured with self-tapping screws, tenax fasteners, and zipping. This model features the junction box and cables on the rear side of the panel, which creates a completely level surface and professional finish after installation. Please note that in order for this panel to be flush mounted, it is necessary to create a recess in the roof/surface on which the panel is to be mounted.

The textured surface reduces light reflection and maximizes light absorption from multiple angles, ensuring high performance in low light, cloudy conditions, or when the light falls at an angle (in the morning, evening, or winter). The fiberglass plastic used in this solar panel is very strong and durable. Soft and sealed edges make the solar panel resilient to mechanical impact on the sides and help avoid long-term delamination. The solar panel is fitted with 2 x 0.9m cable (4.0mm2 cross-section) with waterproof MC4 connectors for easy connectivity. Solar panel specifications:

The product comes with a 2-year workmanship warranty covering material and production defects. This warranty is provided by the manufacturer of the solar cells. The solar panel is supplied with a detailed instruction manual for wiring and operations.

Charging 12V or 24V battery:

Please note that this panel requires a solar charge controller / regulator to charge a battery and cannot be connected directly to the battery. Solar charge controllers with a detailed instruction manual are available in our online shop.

Fitting:

This flexible solar panel is typically installed on a roof using a suitable sealant / adhesive (not included). It is designed to be flush mounted, requiring a recess to be cut into the mounting surface to fit the rear junction box and cables.
