Product Details
A power inverter is a device that converts the direct current (DC) output from a battery into 230V alternating current (AC) electricity, which is the type of electricity supplied by utility companies for running standard domestic appliances such as TVs, fridges, radios, lights, and for charging laptops and mobile phones.
Power inverters allow you to power household appliances in areas with no access to mains electricity, such as in a motorhome, caravan, boat, farm, or any other remote location. They are also useful for off-grid and backup systems in case of power cuts.
The pure sine wave output from this 2000W 12V power inverter closely resembles normal mains electricity and is suitable for a broader range of appliances compared to square wave or modified sine wave inverters. It is also more efficient and is equipped with important protection and safety features including over-discharge, overload, overheating, and short-circuit automatic shutdown.
The inverter can generate 2000W of continuous power and up to 4000W of power at peak times. It also includes a USB port for powering USB-compatible devices and comes with a wireless On/Off remote control with a maximum radius of 50 meters.

To install the inverter, simply connect it to your 12V battery or battery bank, plug your appliances into the inverter, and turn the power switch on. An adaptor may be used for more sockets, provided that the total power consumption of all appliances connected to this inverter is within 2000W.
For users of solar charging systems, this inverter can be connected to your 12V battery alongside any of our solar systems or charging kits. If you already have one of our 12V solar charging kits with a charge controller connected to your 12V battery, this inverter can be added at any time. However, if the solar charge controller has a pair of "load" terminals, please do not connect the inverter to this pair of terminals as the power may be too high for the solar controller. It is recommended to connect the inverter to your 12V battery directly.
